WHAT EXACTLY IS SMART PRIVACY WINDOW FILM?

Our Smart Privacy Window Film is an adhesive film that you stick onto your existing glass.

HOW IS YOUR SMART WINDOW FILM INSTALLED?

The Smart Window Film is applied to your existing glass just like a window film, The Smart Window Film also has wires attached that need to feed back to our power transformer and then into your power supply.

HOW DO YOU CLEAN YOUR smart film?

Our products should be cleaned with a soft cloth, and gentle cleanser.

Avoid harsh chemicals, and the use of sharp instruments. Make certain to remove all liquids from all edges that may have collected during the cleaning process.

DOES YOUR SMART FILM BLACK OUT LIGHT? 

No it isn't black out it's a privacy glass that changes from clear to translucent.

DOES YOUR SMART FILM BLOCK HEAT OR GLARE?

WHAT ELECTRICS ARE NEEDED FOR YOUR SMART WINDOW FILM?

We provide a power transformer which then simply connects into your 13 amp fused spur. 

 

CAN YOU SEE THROUGH THE SMART WINDOW FILM IF YOU STAND UP CLOSE?

No. It is impossible to see through at any distance it's a complete barrier

HOW DO YOU SWITCH THE SMART FILM ON & OFF?

There are numerous options for controlling our smart technology….

1/ We provide a white wireless remote with a wall magnet holder.

2/ We can provide a wireless wall switch.

3/ If you connect the smart film into a ‘Smart Plug’ you can voice activate the glass using Alexa etc.
 

CAN THE SMART PRIVACY FILM GET WET? 

Do not get the edges of the smart film moist. We use a clear silicone around the edges of the film for our bathroom installations but if our Smart film is installed into a bathroom we will not offer a warranty.

 

DOES THE SMART PRIVACY FILM OFFER PROTECTION FROM HARMFUL UV RAYS? 

Yes. It protects you constantly on or off from 99.5% of harmful UV Rays

 

CAN IT BE IN A CERTAIN SHAPE & HAVE HOLES? 

Yes we can manufacture it to most shapes for you. It can also have holes in the Smart window film 
 

CAN I PROJECT MOVIES & IMAGES INTO THE SMART PRIVACY WINDOW FILM? 

Yes. When the Smart Window Film is in the frosted stated (Private) it is excellent for Rear image/movie projection from Projectors. 

 

CAN YOU SHIP ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD?

Yes almost anywhere. 

 

WHAT IS THE LIFESPAN OF YOUR TECHNOLOGY? 

We guarantee our installations for 2 years although it is tested for 25 years. 

We do not offer a warranty on our supply & delivery only projects.
 

CAN THE SMART PRIVACY FILM BE TAKEN DOWN IF WE NO LONGER NEED IT?

Yes it can be removed but it will not be able to be used again as dismantling will damage the film. 
 

WHAT ARE THE LEAD TIMES?

2-5 weeks from order and payment
 

CAN THE SMART PRIVACY FILM GET WET OR BE SCRATCHED? 

Yes it can be scratched so it needs to be treated with care basically as you would care for your TV screen. As long as water doesn’t accumulate in the edges of the smart window film it will be ok. 
 

WHAT IS THE LARGEST & SMALLEST SIZES OF YOUR TECHNOLOGY YOU CAN OFFER? 

Largest pane is 1800mm wide x 5000mm high for the Smart Window Film.

Smallest is 150mm wide x 150mm
 

DO YOU ONLY INSTALL IN LONDON OR WILL YOU TRAVEL FURTHER? 

We can install anywhere in the UK. We will even travel abroad for the right project.

 

CAN YOU WORK NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS IF REQUIRED?  

Yes. Our engineers will work nights and weekends although we do charge a premium.
